Hi, I'm Bettina Baumgart.
I’m a passionate technology marketer and strategist. I've always been interested in optimizing marketing for budget, resources, and results. And of course to make it fun and engaging. I'm good at finding creative solutions.
In his book 'Lean Startup', Eric Ries described the process as validated learning, which is 'a rigorous method for demonstrating progress when one is embedded in the soil of extreme uncertainty [...]'.
Ries refers to product design for startups, but isn't the same true for marketing?
We rarely have all the facts, and base our marketing strategy and programs on intuition. Of course, our experience helps. With the lean model, we are able to implement our marketing programs faster, and then refine them to optimize for revenue.
I like to use the Build-Measure-Learn Feedback Loop that Ries first created. Here it is adapted to marketing:
And when I don't do marketing, I go on adventures with my buddy Felix.
